Bio
My name is Kevin Seconds. I sing and play in the hardcore/punk band 7Seconds and have done so for 25 years. In that time, we have released 13 albums and have toured the world extensively. We just finished our most recent U.S. tour about 2 weeks ago.
I'm also a solo performer and a home-recording nerd and have released 2 full-length albums and handfuls of one-off e.p. releases and singles of my material over the last 10 years. I've even done a couple of tours of the U.S. and the UK on my own.
For the past year or so, I've been throwing most of my time into a musical project I'm truly excited about called Ghetto Moments. It started as a super-simple one-man late-night home-recording project but has now turned into something entirely different. Now, thanks to the help of my trusty Powerbook, ProTools and a couple of decent mics, it's become this multi-layered monster and I just love it to death.
Despite my on-going involvement with 7Seconds, this is my musical priority now and I am more than willing to tour extensively behind it and do what I can to get the word out. I'm low-maintenanced. I'm not a diva. I know how and love to tour and because I have my own studio, I can record my music inexpensively.
In other words, if you run a cool record label (or a rich kid who wants to throw money into a cool, worthwhile project), you should sign me and put out my records :)
Besides all this, I host my very own podcast show called the Kevin Seconds Paw[d]cast Radio Show where I do things like drive around town in my car, talking about music, soccer, sex, my friends, coffee, my wife, my cats and whatever else I can think of while I'm running errands.
